“The Connecting Link for Youth in the Outdoors”
NYCC FAQs
Q- What is The National Youth Conservation Coalition?
A- The National Youth Conservation Coalition (NYCC) is a group made up of thousands of chapters and organizations that support and engage in youth hunting, shooting and conservation education and activities in the United States. The National Youth Conservation Coalition was created by the National Youth Hunting Association to serve the public as the connecting link between ALL of these groups. This program allows every chapter of every major conservation organization, state department of conservation, national youth hunting or shooting group to post their youth related events to the NYCC page of our website for anyone in the public to find. The public is able to view a map of the US, click on any state and see a list of every youth hunting, shooting or conservation event by every organization and group in that state who has posted events. This program and infrastructure effectively creates public visibility to THOUSANDS of youth events nationwide by every conservation organization and youth supportive group, all in one place! Combined with our National Youth Hunting, Shooting & Conservation mobile alert system, anyone in the public can sign up for alerts, find your events and get involved!

Q- What is the Youth Hunting, Shooting and Conservation National Alert System?
A- One of the MAJOR challenges in today’s very busy world is…how do we get the word out about our chapter/organizations youth event so that youth and their parents or mentors can find the event and get involved? How will people find out about our event so they can attend? To answer the mail on these challenges, the NYHA has created the “first of its kind” Youth Hunting, Shooting and Conservation national alert system to enable ANYONE in the general public may sign up for email, mobile text message and Facebook alerts to be notified when any NYCC partner posts their youth event to the NYCC page of our website. Millions of parents and youth of today have email, mobile cell phones and Facebook accounts. Our alert system utilizes state-of-the-art technology to alert everyone via all three of these media channels when any event is posted for the state(s) they would like to receive alerts for. As soon as a NYCC partner posts their event, an alert message is sent out to anyone signed up for alerts for the state in which the event will be held.

A- No. You simply log on, post your event and we take care of the rest! You never have to log back on unless you wish to modify event details or cancel an event before the date arrives. All events that pass and expire based on event date are automatically cleaned and deleted from the system. The NYCC is an educational benefit to the public, to promote every organization that joins and ultimately, the future of all hunting, shooting sports and conservation.
