Outfitter/Celebrity Challenge
The National Youth Hunting Association (NYHA) is a 501c3 Public Charity nonprofit youth organization founded and headquartered in the state of Missouri. Our mission is to promote and preserve our centuries old traditions of hunting, shooting sports and conservation through youth recruitment, retention and involvement in outdoor education, training and events nationwide. At the NYHA, we recognize that the future of all outdoor hunting, shooting, wildlife and habitat conservation resides in our youth, thus it is critical to our mission to educate them and provide them with sustained opportunities to develop their passion in the great outdoors. To assist in the delivery of our mission, the NYHA has created a national public challenge program with the following goals:
1. Promote and Preserve the future of all hunting and shooting sports by creating a sustainable source of opportunities for youth in America.
2. Create lifelong memories in the field for youth, instilling the passion within them to stay involved in our hunting and shooting sports.
3. Provide every youth member of the NYHA from any state, from any background with an equal chance to win and participate in world-class hunting and shooting opportunities that they may never otherwise be able to participate in.
4. Provide Outfitters, Hunting Celebrities, Hunting and Shooting businesses a nationally focused, philanthropic program by which these participants can give back to the sports that have been such a profound part of their lives, thus ensuring a bright future of our hunting heritage.
OUR CHALLENGE TO YOU!!!
The NYHA publicly challenges every Outfitter, Licensed hunting guide, hunting and shooting preserve, hunting celebrity to donate 1 or more youth hunting opportunity, outfitted packages, guided youth hunts, in the name of charity, to benefit our youth and promote and preserve the future of our hunting and shooting heritage. The NYHA will give these hunt donations away in random drawings to our youth members all over the US, with the ultimate goal of giving away one youth hunt or opportunity per week, every week of the year! We will then film these hunts for the production of an “NYHA Youth Hunting The Country” outdoor show to air on national TV.If you are a hunter or shooter today, odds are that someone took the time to mentor you as a child and encouraged your dreams and desires.
